The church I grew up is way cool. No doubt. How do I know that?

  1. It’s over 200 years old. A history full of love and worship.
  2. It served as a hospital in the Civil War.
  3. Because of #2, there are writings from soldiers on the wall. I find this fascinatingly beautiful:
  4. There is a MASSIVE organ in there. Sometimes it sounds a little spooky.
  5. The people there have hearts of gold.
  6. We often walk down to the Waterfront Park and have river baptisms.
  7.  It’s beautiful inside! See some great pictures here.
  8. The kiddos there are fantastic! I dearly miss their silly remarks on Sundays.
If you’re a BCOB member, or have visited, what’s your favorite part?

No matter what is going on in your life, you can always count on the prayer warriors of BCOB to get you through!

  2. I grew up in this church and begged to help in the nursery and now I am director of the CEC and SS director in the preschool and am surrounded by babies and children-LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! The support I get through prayer warriors, friends and church leaders, in hard times and good times, is the most amazing thing in my life-I truly see God in The Baptist Church of Beaufort daily!

What has been such a blessing over the years is watching how God works in the lives of the BCOB children as they grow into teens and young adults. I am so thankful that you, Deni, and many others, have made your top priority allowing God to use you to serve Him and others. Thanks be to God! Blessings always.
